Emporium Stage To Host
Warren High School Play
We are proud to host Warren High School’s One-Act Play Cast and Crew production of “937” by Don Zolidis this Saturday, May 2, at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 each,
with open seating on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The Emporium will open at 5:30, and seating will begin at 6 p.m. Warren’s play, which recently advanced to Bi-District in UIL competition, details the voyage of the S.S. St. Louis in 1939, which attempted to help 937 Jews escape the Holocaust by transporting them from Germany to Cuba.
The play is directed by Warren High School teacher Jami Sanders and Warren Jr. High teacher Jessi Sanders. As there are scenes which depict the horrors of the Holocaust, this play is not advisable for young children.
